Notable New Feature in Experimental Channel
Cloud Rebuild (Recovery Option)
A new recovery feature called Cloud rebuild has been introduced in the Experimental channel. It allows users to restore a Windows 11 PC to a clean, known-good state through a full OS reinstall — even if Windows won’t boot. Unlike the traditional “Reset this PC” option, Cloud rebuild downloads both the target Windows image and the device’s drivers directly from Windows Update. This means no USB media, no custom image, and no reliance on the health of the currently installed OS is required.
Account Control Flyout Refresh
The Windows 11 Account Control flyout received a modern design update, including a clear subscription badge so users can instantly see their account plan status, benefits, and upgrade options.
No additional specific fixes, known issues, or other major changes were detailed in today’s announcement post itself.
