Arcee AI Inks Multi-Million Dollar Exclusive Deal With Hugging Face

Arcee AI has signed a significant strategic partnership with Hugging Face, making the platform the exclusive home for all of its models, datasets, and agent traces moving forward.

The multi-million-dollar deal covers both open-weight releases and private models, along with proprietary datasets and agent traces. Arcee will no longer distribute its work across multiple platforms.

• Hugging Face will serve as the sole distribution hub for everything Arcee builds, including future open models and internal/private artifacts.

• Introducing North Mini Code: Cohere released its first dedicated model for developers — a 30B parameter Mixture-of-Experts model (3B active parameters) focused on agentic coding, available under the Apache 2.0 license.

• A community post detailing how an agent successfully built a 3D Paris Gallery by chaining together two Hugging Face Spaces.

This deal further cements Hugging Face’s position as the central distribution layer for the open-weights ecosystem. By consolidating everything in one place, Arcee is betting that the convenience and reach of the Hub outweigh the benefits of spreading models across multiple platforms.
