Google Removes Gemini 3.5 Flash Feature Toggle in Enterprise

Google has removed the ability for Gemini Enterprise administrators and users to disable Gemini 3.5 Flash. The change took effect on June 16, 2026, and applies across the Global, US, and EU multi-regions.

• Starting June 16, 2026, the Gemini 3.5 Flash feature management toggle is no longer available in Gemini Enterprise.

• Gemini 3.5 Flash is now enabled by default for all users and cannot be turned off.
• The change follows an earlier update on June 9, 2026, when Google first made the model non-disableable.

• The removal applies to the Global, US, and EU multi-regions.

• No option remains for organizations to opt out of Gemini 3.5 Flash within the Gemini Enterprise application.

The move continues Google’s pattern of accelerating adoption of newer Gemini models by reducing administrative controls. Organizations that previously relied on the toggle to manage model access or control costs no longer have that option in the affected regions.
